Dr. Frye has a Ph.D. in Counseling with specialized training in play therapy, therapy with children, adolescents and families, parent-child relationship therapy and collaborative law. She has been in private practice since 1998 and prior to that she worked at an inpatient psychiatric hospital. Since 1998, she has also contracted with numerous foster care agencies and Child Protective Services to provide therapy to children and adolescents in the foster care system.
Currently she works exclusively in private practice with a variety of clients. Her current case load is comprised of many specialized cases such as families who are dealing with issues resulting from Type 1 diabetes and other chronic illness, families struggling with divorce and custody issues. She also has children, adolescents and adults in individual therapy as well as families struggling with divorce, custody, and step family issues.

Dr. Kristi Frye has been in the mental health field since 1994. She has experience with both inpatient and outpatient clients dealing with a wide variety of issues. She has specialized training in working with children and families and has counseled individual play therapy clients as young as 2 years old.
Due to her own early childhood diagnosis, she has a one of a kind approach in working with families who are adjusting to life with diabetes. Being a counselor who also lives with Type 1 diabetes allows her to address the distinct issues faced by clients and families dealing with diabetes from a unique perspective.
Our office manager, Linda, has been working in the medical field since 1998 and with Dr. Frye since 2004. She handles all of the appointment scheduling, accounts receivable and insurance verification and billing for the practice. Linda is available by phone Monday-Thursday, 8:00am – 4:00pm, to assist you.
